You will become very familiar with Accelerated Reader during your time at Derby Cathedral School. This software allows us to see what your reading age is and how much you progress throughout the year. We do STAR reader tests once every term which show us your reading age. Throughout the year, whether in school during an LRC lesson, or at home, you can take quizzes on the books that you read. Each quiz will keep track of how many words you have read (helping you to become a word millionaire) as well as helping to improve your overall reading age.
