We are very thankful to have had Network Rail and British Transport Police in school delivering a very important assembly to all students on Railway Safety. The messages delivered in the assembly are serious and powerful. 

On average throughout the UK, 1 person dies every day on the railways, and many of these are young people who may not be aware of the risks or choose to take risks due to factors such as peer pressure. 

The assemblies are part of a campaign called You vs. Train, which aims to educate young people on the dangers of trespassing on railway tracks.
