GCSE Results Day!

At Derby Cathedral School we are delighted to be able to celebrate our GCSE results for the first time in the school's history! 

We are so proud of the tenacity demonstrated by our Year 11 students, especially considering the Covid disruption they have experienced. 

Our highest attaining students include: 

 

Joseph Fleming: six grade 9s, two grade 8s and one grade 7 

Peter Jones: five grade 9s, two grade 8s and two grade 7s 

Freddie Robertson: four grade 9s, four grade 8s and one grade 5. 

Jennifer Morey: two grade 9s, six grade 8s, and three grade 7s

Scarlett Smith: two grade 9s, four grade 8s and three grade 7s. 

Bilal Rifki: two grade 9s, four grade 8s, three grades 5 -7 

Evie Johnson: two grade 9s, three grade 8s, two grade 7s and two grade 6s. 

 

A special mention goes to David Adefuye. David only arrived in the UK in April 2022 and has achieved a fantastic set of results with: four grade 8s, three grade 7s and two grade 6s. We are so pleased for David and very proud of all that he has achieved in such a short space of time. 

We look forward to continuing to work with so many of our students into our new Sixth Form that opens this September 2024!
