Safer Internet Day – 10th February 2026
Safer Internet Day is an important opportunity to pause and reflect on how we use the online world, and how we can support young people to navigate it safely, confidently and responsibly.
The internet offers incredible opportunities for learning, creativity and connection, but it also brings challenges. Understanding online safety, respectful communication, privacy and digital footprints helps students act with integrity, show humility, and make thoughtful choices in digital spaces.
This short video highlights key messages around staying safe online and looking out for one another. By showing fellowship online, through kindness, respect and support and tenacity in speaking up or seeking help when something does not feel right, young people can help create safer digital communities.
These conversations matter both in school and at home, and we encourage families to watch the video together and continue the discussion. By working together and holding high aspirations for how we behave online, we can help ensure our students feel informed, supported and confident in the digital world.
